Zalman Shazar (Mir, Bielorrusia, 24 de noviembre de 1889Jerusalén, 5 de octubre de 1974) fue un político y poeta israelí.

Fue ministro de Educación (1949-1951) durante el primer Gobierno de Ben Gurión. Fue elegido por la Knéset tercer presidente de Israel, de 1963 a 1973, es decir, durante dos mandatos consecutivos. Durante su mandato presidencial tuvo que afrontar la Guerra de los Seis Días en 1967.

Su retrato aparece impreso en los billetes de 200 nuevos shequels.
