Adrsta

Adrsta (en sánscrito: अदृष्ट) es un concepto de la filosofía india confundido frecuentemente con el concepto de karma. Mientras que el karma puede entenderse como el reultado directo de las acciones de uno mismo el Adrsta se parece más a la noción de destino e implica una fuerza invisible y desconocida que trabaja tras el universo.

Este concepto es debatido en el Vaiśeṣika Sūtra, el principal texto de la escuela filosófica Hinú Vaisheshika, como parte de la discusión filosófica sobre la composición del mundo y el universo. Tras explicar la cosmología atomista sobre la que el texto teoriza, se centra en lo que no puede atribuírse a la naturaleza desde un punto de vista científico. Estos sucesos son atribuídos a manifestaciones del adrsta o una fuerza tras las cosas.[1]
