HMS Audacious

HMS Audacious ha sido el nombre utilizado por varios buques de la Royal Navy británica.

  • El primer cañones en servicio desde 1785 hasta 1815.
  • El segundo Audacious fue un acorazado botado en 1869, convertido en buque almacén desde 1902, renombrado posteriormente Fisgard y después Imperieuse, y vendido para desguace en 1927.
  • El tercer Audacious fue también un acorazado botado en 1912 y hundido por una mina en 1914.
  • El buque mercante SS Montcalm fue convertido en buque de entrenamiento de guerra con el nombre submarino de la clase Astute que debería entrar en servicio en 2012.

Una balandra de 14 cañones capturada en 1797, Audacieux, fue asignada en la Royal Navycomo HMS Audacieux. El buque, apareció en los listados hasta 1801.
