Hydrothrix, es un género monotípico de plantas acuáticas, perteneciente a la familia Pontederiaceae. Su única especie: Hydrothrix gardneri Hook.f.e, Ann. Bot. (Oxford) 1: 90 (1887), es originaria de Brasil en Ceará.
