MaYan es una banda de Death metal progresivo holandesa fundada por el músico y compositor Mark Jansen, el tecladista Jack Driessen y el guitarrista Frank Schiphorst. El nombre de la banda fue elegido por Jansen por su fascinación por la Civilización Maya.

Quarterpast es el álbum debut de la banda holandesa de Symphonic Death Metal MaYaN. Fue lanzado el 20 de mayo de 2011 en Europa. Toda la música es de MaYaN, excepto "Bite the Bullet", que es por Sander Gommans. Todas las letras son de Mark Jansen, excepto "Essenza Di Te", que es por Laura Macri, y el "Sinner's Last Retreat", que es de Mark Jansen y Johanna Najla Fakhry.
