Margot Elise Robbie, es una actriz australiana mejor conocida por interpretar a Donna Freedman en la serie australiana Neighbours.

Biografía

En el 2007, se graduó de Somerset College en Gold Coast.

En el 2009, Margot fue la Joven Embajadora de Personas Desaparecidas como parte de la Semana Nacional de la Juventud.[1]

Es muy buena amiga del actor Sam Clark y de la actriz Ashleigh Brewer, con quienes compartió créditos en Neighbours, Clark interpretó a su novio y luego esposo Ringo Brown y Brewer a su mejor amiga Kate Ramsay. Margot compartió un apartamento con Ashleigh en el 2009.[2] [3]

En Noviembre del 2010 Margot anunció que a su llegada a los Estados Unidos viviría con su amiga y antigua compañera en Neighbours, la actriz Caitlin Stasey.[4]

Carrera

Robbie comenzó a actuar profesionalmente en el 2007, haciendo varios comerciales.

En el 2008 apareció como invitada en un episodio de la serie City Homicide, donde interpretó a Caitlin Brentford; papel que interpretó de nuevo en el 2010.

Ese mismo año también apareció en Review with Myles Barlow y en The Elephant Princess, donde interpretó a Juliet, quien en realidad resultó ser Diva quien gracias a los poderes que le entregó Vashan se transforma. Ese mismo año apareció en la película de acción Vigilante donde interpretó a Cassandra.

En el 2008 se unió al elenco de la exitosa serie australiana Neighbours donde interpreta a la diseñadora de modas Donna Freedman hasta la actualidad,[5] por su actuación fue nominada a un premio logie en el 2009 en la categoría de nuevo talento femenino más popular. Donna apareció por primera vez en junio durante el episodio 5466 como un personaje invitado, sin embargo poco después se unió al elenco principal.[6] El 26 de enero del 2011 Margot apareció por última vez en la serie después de que Donna decidiera irse a Nueva York para trabajar como diseñadora de modas.[7] [8]

En el 2009 apareció en el thriller I.C.U., dirigida por Ash Aaron, quien después de quedar impresionado por su audición le dio el papel principal.[9]

En el 2011 Margot consiguió un papel en la nueva serie Pan Am, de la ABC; en la serie interpretará a Laura, una bella asistente de vuelo.[10] [11] [12]
