New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) (chino: 电视台 新唐人, pinyin:Diànshìtái xīntángrén) Es un medio de comunicacion con sede en Nueva York, posee corresponsales en más de 50 ciudades en todo el mundo. La misión declarada de la compañía es "favorecer el entendimiento mutuo entre las sociedades china y occidental".

Historia

NTDTV fue fundada en en 2001 con la intención de ofrecer una alternativa al dominio del gobierno chino en la industria de medios de comunicación chinos. La estación tiene un enfoque en la promoción de la cultura tradicional china, y cuestiones de derechos humanos, adoptando una postura crítica sobre el Partido Comunista Chino.

En febrero de 2002, NTDTV comenzó a transmitir por vía satélite en América del Norte, y amplió su audiencia en la China continental en abril de 2004. En la actualidad, la cobertura de la emisora por satélite llega a Asia, Europa y Australia en varios idiomas. Que dice ser la "primera y única televisión independientes en idioma chino.
