Piero Scaruffi

Piero Scaruffi

Piero Scaruffi (nacido en Trivero, Italia, en 1955), es un crítico musical y escritor italoestadounidense. Además ha publicado varios libros de poesía.

Ha publicado libros sobre la historia del rock, avantgarde, jazz y música popular moderna. Su libro A History of Rock Music (2003) abarca cincuenta años de la historia del rock. Desde 2003 publica todos sus libros de forma independiente. Todos sus textos musicales se pueden encontrar online [1] en su propio sitio web, scaruffi.com, e incluyen textos sobre la historia del jazz y sobre música clásica europea. Su sitio web, fue objeto de un artículo en el New York Times el 15 de octubre de 2006.[2]
