The Girl Who Had Everything es una película de 1953 dirigida por Richard Thrope y producida por Armande Deutsch por Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. La película muestra a William Powell en su última película MGM y uno de sus últimos papels antes de su jubilación.[1] El guion fue escrito por Art Cohn, basado en la obra por Willard Mack, que fue basada en la novela A Free Soul por Adela Rogers St. Johns. La obra y novela también fueron una inspiración para una adaptación de película llamada A Free Soul.[2]
Trama
Steve Latimer (William Powell) es un exitoso abogado que ha tratado de darle a su hija Jean (Elizabeth Taylor) todo lo que puede en vida. Ella decide dejar su novio, el amable Vance Court (Gig Young), por Víctor Ramondi (Fernando Lamas), un hombre libertino y peligroso con conexiones submundo a quien Steve está representando. Steve trata de advertirle a Jean sobre Víctor, pero ella acepta su proposición de matrimonio.
