The Switch anteriormente llamada The Baster (Un pequeño cambio en España), es una comedia romántica con drama protagonizada por Jennifer Aniston y Jason Bateman. Will Speck y Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory) dirigieron la comedia del guion escrito por Allan Loeb. La película se basó en el cuento "Baster" por Jeffrey Eugenides.[1] [2] La filmación comenzó en marzo de 2009 y terminó en mayo de 2009.

Contenido

Trama

Kassie Singleton (Jennifer Aniston) decide que quiere tener un bebé. A pesar de las objeciones de su neurótico mejor amigo Wally (Jason Bateman), ella decide hacerlo sola, con los servicios de un atractivo y guapo donante de esperma Roland (Patrick Wilson). Wally siempre ha tenido sentimientos por Kassie, pero cómo también su amigo (Jeff Goldblum), él perdió la oportunidad y lo puso en la "zona de amigos". Pero las cosas no van como se planean, debido a que Wally se emborracha mucho en la "fiesta de inseminación" de Kassie, accidentalmente derrama el semen de Roland y se ve obligado a reemplazarlo por el suyo. Siete años después, Kassie regresa con un precioso pero neurótico hijo Sebastian (Thomas Robinson). Wally forma un enlace con esta mini-versión de él mismo, pero las malas noticias son que Roland también está entre ellos.

Contexto

La trama, con la participación de una inseminación artificial por un donante, tiene similitudes con The Back-Up Plan, qué fue filmada aproximadamente al mismo tiempo, y siguió en la estela de Baby Mama, que supuso subrogación.[3]

The Switch recibió críticas mixtas de críticos, obteniendo una calificación de 49% en Rotten Tomatoes.[4]
