The Valentines (el san valentín) fue un Grupo de Rock and Roll formada por Bon Scott y Vince Lovegrove.

Conocidos por canciones: Every Day I Have To Cry, I Can't Dance With You (1967), She Said, To Know You Is To Love You (1967) y Why Me Y Getting Better (1968) entre muchas otras.

En sus tiempos llegó un grupo musical de Ska llamado igual The Valentines, y The Paragons otro grupo musical fundado en 1969. Bon Scott decidió formar el grupo con su amigo Vince Lovegrove juntaban bailarines de música Rock And Roll.

Biografía

Ronald Belford Scott (Kirriemuir, 9 de julio de 1946 – Londres, 19 de febrero de 1980), más conocido como Bon Scott, fue un cantante de Hard rock, letrista, gaitero y percusionista (batería), más conocido por haber sido el vocalista de la banda AC/DC desde 1974 hasta su muerte en el año 1980. Fue introducido en el Salón de la Fama del Rock junto a los miembros actuales de AC/DC en el 2003. En julio del 2004 la revista del Reino Unido Classic Rock lo colocó en el primer lugar de su lista "The 100 Greatest Frontmen" por delante de Robert Plant y Freddie Mercury.[1] Fue mejor conocido por haber hecho la banda de ska con sus amigos pioneros a los 20 años de edad The Valentines.

Ocupación

Además Bon se encuentra en el 5º lugar en la lista de los mejores vocalistas de Heavy metal "Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Vocalists" de la revista Hit Parader.[2] En Los Valentines su ocupación era la ocupación 2, la ocupación 1 era en The Spektors, AC/DC fue la última ocupación y la más reciente.
