AK Press es una editorial y distribuidora independiente y de propiedad colectiva que se especializa en literatura anarquista y radical.

Fue originalmente fundada en Edimburgo, Escocia por Ramsey Kanaan en 1987 como un pequeño servicio de pedidos por correo. El proyecto pronto se amplió, aventurándose en la publicación de libros independientes y teniendo ahora una filial en Oakland, California (Estados Unidos) donde actualmente vive Kanaan. AK Press está organizada como una cooperativa de trabajadores, lo que significa que es propiedad de todos los miembros del colectivo y trabajan sin jefes, cada integrante tiene igual nivel de decisión y de paga. Funciona en línea a través de akpress.org en Estados Unidos y de akuk.org en Europa. En E.U.A. tiene una librería móvil que viaja alrededor del país (a protestas, conferencias de activistas, etc. esencialmente por pedido). En el Reino Unido funcionan con puestos en acontecimientos similares. Sus libros, sobre tópicos que incluyen anarquismo, globalización (y antiglobalización), derechos animales, entre otros, usualmente son difíciles de conseguir en ámbitos convencionales.

También vende ropa, botones, adhesivos y varios "accesorios anarquistas" como mapas del mundo al revés y banderas rojinegras del anarcosindicalismo. Ha lanzado álbumes hablados de radicales distinguidos tales como Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Jello Biafra, Arundhati Roy y Mumia Abu-Jamal y música de artistas como David Rovics y Utah Phillips.
