Championship Scramble

Championship Scramble es una lucha en la que se defiende un título.

Utilizada en la WWE por primera vez por el gerente general de RAW Mike Adamle. En el evento UNFORGIVEN 2008 por el campeonato mundial pesado y luego usada por la general manager de SmackDown! Vickie Guerrero por el campeonato de la WWE en la misma semana para el mismo evento y la sigueinte semana fue dado a conocer en el programa ECW que el manager Teodore Long había autorizado una lucha por el ECW Championship.

La lucha consiste en que empezarán 2 participantes no importa que no inicie el campeón, el campeón y los otros participantes (incluido el campeón) empiezan normalmente y si ganan por cuenta de tres o rendición son denominados campeones interinos , se designa campeón al que haya terminado como campeón interino.
