Ciudad Quesada (Alicante) Ciudad Quesada es una pedanía del municipio de Rojales (provincia de Alicante, España). Cuenta con 12.513 habitantes (INE 2007[1] ).
Situada en la parte sur del término municipal de Rojales, se encuentra a 4 km del mar Mediterráneo. Se trata de una zona de urbanizaciones donde predomina la población foránea, principalmente británica.

The urbanization Quesada is located on south facing slopes with commanding views over the salt lakes of Torrevieja, one an actual working salt lake considered to be the most important in Europe, the other being a nature reserve. Beyond them the Mediterranean Sea glistens on the horizon. Further views take in the mountains and inland plains covered with orange and lemon groves filling the air with delicate aroma in flowering seasons.
Amongst the many facilities are an Aqua Park, Golf Course and Social Club with restaurant, live entertainment, bowls and swimming facilities. There are numerous Bars, Restaurants, Shops including newsagents, supermarkets a tobacconist, hairdressers, banks’ with exchange facilities and medical centre. Ciudad Quesada really is a secluded paradise, yet close enough to three towns, Torrevieja, Guadamar del Segura and Rojales, to cater for all types of holiday.
The whole of the complex is very stylish and picturesque with landscaped gardens surrounding the swimming pool with ceramic detail and including soft, atmospheric lighting in the evenings, embracing the whole Mediterranean feel. There are many outstanding golf courses in the area including Royal Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin where they have, in the past, held the Spanish Open, as well as La Marquesa which is part of the Ciudad Quesada urbanization.
You are only a short car ride away from some typically Spanish towns including Torrevieja, Guadamar del Segura, Elche, with one of Europe’s largest palm forests, Santa Pola, famous for its seafood, Alicante, an exciting Spanish city and Benidorm, which is only one hours drive away.
The medieval market is held once a year in the caves in Rojales it goes on for about 3 days in the month of October, linked to one of the many religious festivals, its another opportunity for an all night party. Singing dancing and for some reason drums all night long. But when in Spain.
