Crystal Liu (nacida el 25 de agosto de 1987) es una actriz y cantante china. Aunque a menudo se le acredita como Liu Yi Fei (chino tradicional: 劉亦菲, chino simplificado: 刘亦菲), su nombre legal es Liu Xi Mei Zi (chino tradicional: 劉茜美子, chino simplificado: 刘茜美子). A la edad de 15 años, Liu Yifei obtuvo el papel de "Wang Yuyan" en la serie de televisión Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, la cual promovió su fama en China.

Vida personal

Nació en el hospital de Tongji en Wuhan, China. Su padre era secretario de la Embajada de China en Francia y su madre era una bailarina y artista intérprete. Se divorciaron cuando ella tenía 7 años de edad. Comenzó la carrera del modelaje a los 8 años; además, tomó clases de canto, baile y piano. Se mudó a los Estados Unidos a los 11 años con su madre; Yifei vivió allí durante cuatro años (en la ciudad de Nueva York). Durante esos cuatro años asistió a la escuela Louis Pasteur Middle School.[1]
