Darrell Huff

Darrell Huff (15 de julio, 1913 - 27 de junio, 2001) fue un escritor Estado Unidense, mejor conocido como el autor del libro How to Lie with Statistics (Como mentir con estadísticas(1954), el libro de estadísticas más vendido de todos los tiempos.

Huff nació en Gowrie, Iowa, y fue a la Universidad de Iowa, (recibiendo los grados de BA en 1938, y MA en 1939). Antes de dedicarse de tiempo completo a la escritura en 1946, Huff sirvió como editor en las revistas "Better Homes and Gardens" y "Liberty" magazine. Huff estuvo casado durante 64 años con Frances Marie Nelson.

Como escritor independiente, Huff produjo centenares de artículos del tipo "Como hacer para" y escribió al menos dieciséis libros, la mayoría acerca de arreglos domésticos. Uno de sus mayores proyectos de una construcción reconocida en Carmel, California donde vivió hasta su muerte.
