Doug Batchelor

Doug Batchelor (nacido el 9 de marzo de 1957) es un evangelista de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día y autor de varios libros. Su ministerio principal es "Amazing Facts", un ministerio mundial de radio y televisión con base en Sacramento, California. También pastorea la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día Central de Sacramento. Doug es hijo del magnate de la aviación y filántropo de Florida George Batchelor y de la crítica de cine de Hollywood, actriz y compositora Ruth Batchelor.[1] [2] Pasó gran parte de su juventud buscando el propósito de su vida y mientras vivía en una caverna al sur de California, encontró una Biblia que finalmente cambió su vida.

Ministerio en los medios

Batchelor es el presentador del programa semanal de televisión Amazing Facts Presents el cual es transmitido tanto por la red de televisión por cable de Estados Unidos como por distintas emisoras de televisión alrededor del mundo. También es anfitrión de un programa de radio de una hora titulado Bible Answers Live que es transmitido a través de más de cien estaciones de radio de Estados Unidos y por señal satelital alrededor del mundo.

Como Pastor Senior Batchelor predica en la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día de Sacramento y sus sermones son emitidos por televisión local y satelital en programas como Central Study Hour y Everlasting Gospel.

Familia

Batchelor está casado con Karen Batchelor y tiene cuatro hijos, sus pasatiempos incluyen tocar guitarra, buzear, jugar racquetball y pilotear aviones.
