Driver: The Recruit es el nombre del que será el próximo videojuego de la saga Driver. Fue confirmada su puesta en marcha en agosto de 2006, cuando Ubisoft adquiere los derechos que antes poseía Atari. Después Sony confirmó también en 2006 en el Tokyo Game Show que el nuevo Driver sería lanzado para Playstation 3. En junio de 2008, la BBC hizo un reportaje de la industria de los videojuegos. Este reportaje se hizo grabando la creación de Driver 5, lo que nos hizo poder ver secuencias e imágenes de este videojuego. El juego será lanzado para Playstation 3 y muy posiblemente para Xbox 360. También estará presente en PC. Driver: The Recruit busca ser el juego más realista de toda la saga. El 27 de abril de 2009, Ubisoft dio a conocer el nombre del juego.

Fecha de lanzamiento
