Elvira Arellano ( * San Miguel Curahuango, Michoacán en 1975), es una inmigrante mexicana, que se ha tratado de convertirse en un símbolo de la inmigración en Estados Unidos, en pro de la reforma migratoria.

Fue deportada el 20 de agosto de 2007 por haber falsificado documentación en Estados Unidos, afectando con esto a la persona a la cual usurpó ilegalmente, su hijo permanece en Estados Unidos.

El 29 de agosto de 2007, solicitó a Felipe Calderón un visado especial para reunirse con su hijo, y; abogó por las otras 600.000 madres que se encuentran en iguales circunstancias, así como por los 12 millones de inmigrantes mexicanos que se encuentran en la clandestinidad. Hasta el momento no ha podido regresar a los Estados Unidos, dado que debido a sus acciones ha quedado fichada por la justicia de este país.

Recientemente se presentó en el palacio de San Lázaro en México D.F. para exigir al gobierno federal acciones concretas a favor de los inmigrantes ilegales radicados en EE.UU., así mismo señaló ante los medios que comienza una huelga de hambre hasta el 12 de diciembre; acciones como ésta la han caracterizado por querer estar siempre acusando a EE.UU. por sus conductas racistas.
