El Epson PX-8 "Geneva" fue un ordenador portátil lanzado en 1984 por la empresa Epson. El ordenador era equipado con una pequeña pantalla LCD de ocho líneas por 80 caracteres. El sistema operativo del Epson era el entonces popular CP/M (en la versión 2.2), además de ofrecer el lenguaje de programación BASIC en ROM.[1]

El ordenador portátil tenía cómo público destinatario ("target") los ejecutivos y hombres de negocio, conteniendo una suite de programas comerciales almacenados en ROM, tales como procesador de textos (WordStar), hoja de cálculo (Portable Calc) y agenda (Portable Scheduler).
