Fluttertonguing

Técnica carasterística de los instrumentos de viento, que consistente en utilizar la lengua para producir un característico FrrrrFrrrr mientras se soplan la notas de manera convencional.

Es común en músicas modernas como el jazz y particularmente usado en flauta, trompeta, trombón, saxofón aunque se puede hacer en otros instrumentos de viento.

Flautistas que destacan utilizando esta técnica: Ian Anderson o Roland Kirk.
