Global Energy Services (GES) es una empresa española con sede en Bilbao dedicada a dar servicios de ingeniería, instalación y mantenimiento para los sectores de energías renovables, industria e infraestructura.

En 2008 estaba presente en 17 países.

Historia

GES nació en Cataluña como una empresa dedicada al mantenimiento industrial y al montaje. De 1991 a 2006 estuvo integrada dentro del grupo Gamesa y se constituyó como la empresa de servicios del grupo.

En 2006 Gamesa vendió el 100% del capital social a la compañía de capital riesgo británica 3i y al equipo directivo que venía gestionando la empresa.

En 2008 la empresa está en crecimiento, aumentando su plantilla de los 3600 empleados de 2007 a los casi 5000 en 2008.

Cifras económicas

La previsión de facturación para 2008 es de 680 millones de euros, frente a los 490 millones de 2007.
