Al Koran (4 de Marzo, 1914 - 12 de Junio, 1972)

Era un mentalista, nacido en East London, Inglaterra.(su nombre real fue Edward Doe),Inventa The Jonah Card en 1948 y One Word in Thousands en 1954. Basandose en Ball of Fortune de Stawart James, inventa el Medallion en 1967. Y, adaptando el efecto y metodo de Willmann, tambien crea Ring Flite en 1967. El tambien inventouna baraja especial conocida como la baraja Al Koran.

En 1945, se convierte en el miembro mas joven en recibir la mención medalla de oro de la Sociedad de Magos. Eso fue despues de elegir su nombre de escenario "Al Koran" y hacer de la magia un empleo de tiempo completo.

En enero de 1969, emigra a los Estados Unidos de America. Primero hacia Cleveland, Ohio y luego se asentarìa en Chicago.
