H. R. Ellis Davidson

Hilda Roderick Ellis Davidson (1914-2006) fue una antiquaria y académica inglesa, que escribió especialmente sobre la mitología nórdica. Gods and Myths of Northern Europe (Dioses y mitos del norte de Europa) (Penguin Books, 1964) es considerado una de las fuentes más amplias y reputadas de las mitologías islándicas, nórdicas y germanas. Davidson usa evidencia literaria, histórica y arqueológica para discutir las historias y costumbres de Europa septentrional.
