Hervey Cleckley

El doctor Hervey M. Cleckley fue el pionero de la investigación sobre psicopatía. En 1941, publicó un libro llamado The Mask of Sanity: An Attempt to Clarify Some Issues About the So-Called Psychopathic Personality. Más tarde, el médico Robert Hare apareció con su Psychopathy Checklist para establecer las principales características del comportamiento psicopático. Posteriormente Cleckley co-escribió (con Corbett Thigpen) The Three Faces of Eve (1956).
