Island Records es una compañía discográfica británica, filial de Universal. Island es una de las compañías más importantes a nivel mundial[cita requerida], en el que destaca por tener música Rock y R&B, y destacan artistas y grupos de éxito internacional, como son: Fall Out Boy, Justin Bieber, The Killers, The Airborne Toxic Event (desde 2009), Thrice, Sum 41, Bon Jovi, Sugababes, Mutya Buena, Son Of Dork, The Feeling, Hoobastank, Ashanti, Mariah Carey, Ocean Colour Scene, Keane o (Productor Musical "GM") Mika entre otros. Fue también el sello de Bob Marley, McFly, The Cranberries, U2, Cat Stevens y Amy Winehouse

Con motivo del 50 aniversario del sello británico Island Records el próximo mes de mayo se va a celebrar el Island 50 festival, en el que participarán artistas relevantes de la compañía (Cat Stevens, Spooky Tooth, Tom Tom Club, Paul Weller o Toots and the Maytals) así como algunas de sus nuevas figuras.
