José Mari Chan (11 de marzo de 1945, Iloílo), es un cantante, compositor y empresario filipino de ascendencia china. El se graduó en la Universidad Ateneo de Manila en la carrera de economía en 1967. Después de graduarse, dos años después empieza a grabar y lanzar su nuevo álbum discográfico a partir de 1969, además se inspiró en otros artistas como los Beatles y The Beach Boys. En 1970 y 1974, es otorgado también a 20 nominaciones de la Academia Filipina de Cine Artístico. En 1989, hace conocer su próximo álbum discográfico titulado "Constant Change" y comparte los escenarios con el cantante estadounidense Jimmy Webb, tras una gira por los Estados Unidos y con su compatriota, la actriz y cantante Lea Salonga.
