Aloke Dutta

Aloke Dutta es un reconocido músico de asendencia india, famoso por su talento para tocar la tabla. Aloke se ha hecho una figura muy importante en la música moderna, ya que ha enseñado a algunos de los percusionistas y bateristas, más influyentes de nuestro tiempo. Una de sus características es que el es muy selectivo con sus estudiantes.

Entre sus pupilos se destacan Danny Carey, Terry Bozzio, Pat Mastelotto, Joe Porcaro, Simon Phillips, Roy Wooten, y Aaron Harris.

En enero de 2008, Aloke Dutta sufrió un infarto masivo cuando se encontraba visitando a sus padres en la India. Actualmente se encuentra completamente recuperado.

Él volvió a Los Angeles a finales de abril y continúa dando lecciones de tabla desde el 3 de mayo de 2008.
