LDTP son las siglas en inglés de "Linux Desktop Testing Project" o Proyecto de Pruebas del Escritorio Linux. Es una herramienta escrita en lenguajes C y Python que permite crear y reproducir guiones o "scripts" que repliquen el comportamiento de una aplicación informática en aquellas que utilicen las bibliotecas de accesibilidad propias del entorno Linux

Permite generar casos de prueba repetibles que permiten revisar la consistencia funcional del programa.

Hasta el momento permite probar aplicaciones que usen las bibliotecas de acccesibilidad, la Mozilla Application Suite, Openoffice y aplicaciones escritas en el lenguaje java que utilicen la interface gráfica swing.
