Libertarian Book Club

El Libertarian Book Club (Club del Libro Libertario) es una editorial independiente y una organización política estadounidense fundada a finales de la de década de los 1940s por un grupo que incluía a Gregory Maximoff, Sam Dolgoff y Valerio Isca.

Ha publicado textos originales y traducidos escritos desde varias perspectivas anarquistas y sindicalistas, y re-impreso textos de épocas anteriores que hallan dejado su huella en movimientos sociales[1] [2] y la izquierda política en general. También ha organizado lecturas, paneles de opinión y foros sobre el socialismo libertario. Conocidos colaboradores del Club han sido Paul Avrich y Murray Bookchin.

Es notable su publicación de 1963 de El Único y su Propiedad de Max Stirner. El libro fue una reimpresión de una traducción de 1907 hecha por Steven T. Byington, editado por James J. Martin con portada hecha por el hijo de Rudolf Rocker, y reavivó el interés en Stirner y su influencia en el anarquismo y otros movimientos radicales, además llevó a Stirner a una audiencia más amplia en Estados Unidos.

El Club aún existe como una pequeña editorial e imprenta con sede en Lafayette Street en la Ciudad de Nueva York y además organizan el Foro Anarquista de Nueva York.
