Love in the time of cholera es el segundo EP de la cantante colombiana Shakira, lanzado en 2007.
La cantante y compositora colombiana Shakira escribió y produjo dos nuevas canciones, con la colaboración de Pedro Aznar para la banda sonora de la película El amor en los tiempos del cólera, dirigida por Mike Newell y basada en la obra del premio Nobel de literatura, Gabriel García Márquez.
Su colaboración consta de tres canciones. Una de ellas es “Pienso en ti” del álbum Pies descalzos y las restantes son un bolero llamado “Hay amores” y “Despedida”, una canción que “evoca el lamento de los Andes”. El resto de canciones que forman parte de la banda sonora han sido compuestas por Antonio Pinto. La canción "Despedida" fue nominado en el premio a la Mejor canción original de película.[1]

Presentaciones en vivo
Shakira interpretó «Hay Amores» en el concierto Shakira:Live at Rock in Rio Madrid.[2] La canción «Despedida» fue interpretada en Jay Leno show y más tarde en su quinta gira mundial Sale el Sol World Tour[3]
