Tractor M4 HST.

El tractor veloz M4 de 18 toneladas fue diseñado como remolcador principal de grandes cañones de artillería pesada, como el 90mm antiaéreo, el 155mm Long Tom y el Howitzer de 8 pulgadas. Adicionalmente al transporte del cañón, el M4 llevaba munición en compartimentos de carga. Podía portar diez hombres más el conductor. El M4 HST (High Speed Tractor) fue construido por Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co. of Milwaukee, WI desde 1942 y estuvo en servicio en el ejército estadounidense hasta aproximadamente 1960. Su plataforma estaba basada en el tanque ligero M2.

Estaba motorizado por un motor, de gasolina, en línea Waukesha 145GZ de seis cilindros y 210 hp (156 kW). Tenía una autonomía de 290 km, y una velocidad máxima de 53 km/h.
