Merenrap, o meren-rap, es un estilo de música hip hop que fue formada por la fusión entre el merengue dominicano y el rapeo. La primera canción de este género fue "Soy Chiquito (No Inventes Papito, No Inventes)" de Santi Y Sus Duendes y Lisa M en 1990. Otros artistas importantes son Proyecto Uno.
