Merosaurus

Merosaurus

"Merosaurus" es el nombre informal dado a un género de un posible dinosaurio terópodo tetanuro que vivió a finales del período Jurásico, hace aproximadamente 190 millones de años en el Sinemuriano e Inglaterra. La especie tipo, "Merosaurus newmani", fue nombrada por Samuel Welles, H.P. Powell y A. Pickering in 1995, basdos en una solitaria pata que anteriormente fuese asociada con Scelidosaurus.
