Sheikh ul Islaam Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab at-Tamimi (1703-1792) (en árabe:محمد بن عبد الوهاب التميمي) fue un prominente teólogo árabe e influente erudito, nacido en Najd, hoy en día situada en Arabia Saudí. A pesar de que nunca reclamó crear una corriente separada del Islam, es de su nombre de donde deriva el término wahhabismo. Era miembro de la tribu árabe de los Banu Tamin.
