One and The Same es la canción principal de el rodaje Princess Protection Program, protagonizada por las mejores amigas Demi Lovato y Selena Gómez.

One and The Same se grabó en el 2009 junto con el rodaje de la película.

Historia de la película

Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore (Demi Lovato) Pronto iba a tener su coronación para ser reina de la isla Costaluna, pero vino el rey de Costaestrella y quería derrocar la coronación y secuestrar a la princesa. Hasta que la madre de Rosalinda le recomienda que se vaya con uno de sus guardias porque el la enviaría a un lugar seguro.

Cuando Rosalinda llega al lugar, la entran en una sala donde le anuncian que ella está en Programa de Protección para princesas para poder protegerla de el rey de Costaestrella. Para que no la descubran, le cambian totalmente el "look" y le ponen como nombre Rossie González. La llevan a los Estados Unidos y la ponen en una escuela. En su estancia, se hace amiga de Carter Mason (Selena Gomez). Luego, se están haciendo los preparativos para el baile anual y se escogerían 3 princesas y una de ellas saldría como la princesa. La más popular de la escuela, Chelsea (Jamie Chung)siente envidia por el perfeccionismo de Rossie. Su mejor amiga Brooke,(Samantha Droke), siente lo mismo. Más tarde, cuando eligen a las tres princesas, salen Chelsea, Carter y Rossie. Comienzan los preparativos para el baile, pero en eso, Chelsea y Brooke se enteran por medio de una revista que Rossie es una princesa. Y se lo quieren mandar por mensajes a todo el mundo.

El rey de Costaestrella se entera donde está y va hacia la escuela. Carter y Rossie habían preparado un plan para que el rey se confundiera. En la coronación de la princesa ganadora del baile, gana Rossie y Chelsea se enoja mucho.

Cuando el rey de Costaestrella llega a la escuela, el padre de Carter le puso una trampa y lo llevaron a la cárcel por haber violado las leyes de los Estados Unidos por intento de secuetro. Al final, Rossie le da la corona a Chelsea porque a ella no le interesa ser la mejor ni necesita ser reina de una escuela.

Un mes más tarde, se celebra la coronación de la reina Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore y lo celebran sus famileares, el Mayor Mason (padre de Carter) y Carter.
