Poltava (Полта́ва en ucraniano y ruso) es una ciudad y óblast en el centro del Óblast de Poltava en Ucrania central con 313,400 habitantes en el 2004. En ella se sucedió la más famosa de las batallas de la Gran Guerra del Norte, la Batalla de Poltava.
