School Ties, conocida en países hispanohablantes como Código de Honor, es un film norteaméricano del año 1992, protagonizado por actores de actual renombre como Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon, Chris O'Donnell, Ben Affleck, entre otros. La historia nos lleva al año 1956, donde un chico judío de origen humilde llega a una escuela privada, donde encontrará problemas de distinta índole.

Argumento

David Greene (Brendan Fraser) es un adolescente de clase media que ha conseguido una beca para estudiar en una escuela privada. Todo se debe a su enorme capacidad física para la práctica del deporte. Aunque levanta algunos recelos por su relación con una hermosa joven, Sally Wheeler, interpretada por Amy Locane, no tienen problemas en su convivencia. Hasta que un día se descubre el secreto que tan cuidadosamente guardaba David: su condición judía. Esto plantea entre ellos una revisión de sus valores y de la manera de comportarse. Greene se ve enfrentado al rechazo de la mayoría de los estudiantes.

Reparto

En esta película se reúnen los actores más llamativos de los últimos años 90. Los cuatro han saltado al estrellato desde interpretaciones muy diversas, pero han demostrado sus excelentes cualidades para la interpretación. La película nos transporta a una época complicada, en un atractivo ambiente estudiantil. Una historia emocionante sobre la amistad, el amor y la tolerancia.
