Sus Inicios

Robert ( "Robbie") Crane (nacido el 5 de enero de 1969 en Orange County, California) se trasladó al de Distrito de Fairfax de Hollywood, California a la edad de 9 años sus estudios empezaron en Bancroft juinor High School de Fairfax y la escuela secundaria. Por su 14to cumpleaños de su padre le compró su primera guitarra bajo para la Escuela de Música de Fairfax en Hollywood. Poco después Robbie y mejor amigo Stuart Waldman jugaban los clubes de Hollywood con su primera banda "Dreamsuite" cuando eran sólo 16. Robbie pasó a tecnología para Bobby Dall veneno de 1984 a 1986. Como el bajista tocó en bandas locales de Luisiana: Lancia, Hot Wheelz, New Haven y Monroe (Rick Monroe) y ha estado de gira y grabado con Vince Neil (Motley Crue) en solista con la banda con Steve Stevens en la Guitarra y Vikki Foxx ex - (Enuff Z'Nuff) en la batería, tiempo después luego con Al Pitrelli en Vertex y luego con Ratt grabando y haciendo giras desde 1996.

Otros Proyectos

Por otro lado Robbie ha participado en otros proyectos con bandas como: Love/Hate, Adler's Appetite, etc.

En el 2008 se junto con Jani Lane ex - cantante de Warrant para un proyecto musical de Hard Rock, junto a su compañero de Ratt Bobby Blotzer y además con su ex - compañero de Ratt Keri Kelli en las guitarras formaron la banda Saints of The Underground.
