The Dome Patrol (español: La Patrulla del Domo) fue el apodo del cuerpo de apoyadores del equipo de fútbol americano, los Santos de Nueva Orleans al final de la década de los años 1980 y principios de la década de los años 1990. The Dome Patrol fue ubicada por el canal NFL Network como el cuerpo de apoyadores #1 de todos los tiempos. Sus miembros fueron:

  • OLB Rickey Jackson, 6 selecciones al Pro Bowl (1983, 84, 85, 86, 92, 93) (Salón de la fama de los New Orleans Saints)[1]
  • MLB Sam Mills, 4 selecciones al Pro Bowl (1987, 88, 91, 92)[2]

Durante el reinado de The Dome Patrol, los Santos de Nueva Orleans llegaron cuatro ocasiones a post-temporada (1987, 1990, 1991 y 1992), incluyendo la primera aparición en post-temporada en la historia de la franquicia en 1987. También ganaron un título de campeones de la NFC Oeste (1991). La defensiva de los Santos lidereó la liga en puntos permitidos e intercambios de balón en 1991, y de nuevo en puntos permitidos en 1992. La defensiva también ostentó la marca de 27 partidos permitiendo 10 puntos o menos, con 5 "blanqueadas". Los cuatro apoyadores hicieron historia en la NFL por ser nombrados al Pro Bowl de manera colectiva en 1992.[5]
