The Ragpicker's Dream es el tercer álbum en solitario de Mark Knopfler (ex-líder de Dire Straits). En el álbum predomina un sonido acústico. Publicado en 2002. En marzo de 2003, Mark Knopfler sufrió un accidente de motocicleta en Londres en el que se fracturó la clavícula. Esto obligó a suspender la gira mundial de promoción del álbum. La portada del álbum pertenece a una conocida instantánea del fotógrafo Elliott Erwitt, realizada en Valencia en 1952.
