The Wall Street Journal (abreviado informalmente como WSJ) es un periódico financiero fundado el 8 de julio de 1889 por la empresa estadounidense Dow Jones & Company. Su sede está en la ciudad de Nueva York y su tendencia es conservadora.

El periódico sufrió una seria crisis al inicio de la década de 1990, habiéndose pensado inclusive en una reducción severa de la circulación del periódico o en la posible venta de la empresa que lo publica. No obstante, la expansión posterior del periódico hizo que éste subsistiera, incorporando ediciones regionales destinadas a Europa, Asia Oriental y América Latina.

El Wall Street Journal se caracteriza hasta la fecha por promover y apoyar el libre mercado, el capitalismo y el liberalismo económico, lo cual se refleja en sus editoriales, artículos económicos y en sus páginas de análisis político sobre asuntos estadounidenses y mundiales.
