You Wanted the Best, You Got the Best es un recopilatorio en vivo lanzado por la banda de Hard Rock Kiss. La mayoría de las canciones incluias en el álbum fueron tomadas de los discos Alive! y Alive II, pero para despertar el interés de los fanáticos, se incluyeron cuatro canciones que no estaban presentes en los mencionados discos.

El disco obtuvo la certificación de Oro el 12 de mayo de 1997, habiendo vendido 500.000 copias.
