La discografía de King Diamond esta compuesta por doce álbumes de estudio, álbumes en directo, recopilatorios, EP, sencillos, videos musicales y cajas recopilatorias.

La mayoría de sus publicaciones han sido lanzadas por las compañías discográficas Roadrunner Records (1986/1992), Metal Blade Records y Massacre Records (1995/2007)

King Diamond debutó con el sencillo "No Presents for Christmas" el día 25 de diciembre de 1985 y desde entonces, ha permanecido en la industria musical.

Su debut oficial comenzó en 1986 con el álbum de estudio titulado Fatal Portrait producido por King Diamond y Rune Höyer.
