Argumento

Christopher Cross (Edward G. Robinson) es un cajero aficionado a la pintura, conoce a Kitty (Joan Bennett) de la cual se enamora. Por este amor, roba en la oficina bancaria donde trabaja, además el amante de Kitty, Johnny (Dan Duryea), le roba sus cuadros y los pone a la venta atribuyendo la autoría a Kitty.
