Marty Sampson

Marty Sampson (nacido el 31 de mayo de 1979) es un compositor cristiano y líder de alabanza de la Iglesia Hillsong, en Sídney, Australia. Comenzó su trabajo en los álbumes de Youth Alive a finales de los ‘90, y fue uno de los que comenzaron como líderes en Hillsong United. La guitarra es el principal instrumento que interpreta, pero ocasionalmente toca el piano. En noviembre de 2006 se casó con Michelle y tiene un hijo llamado Phoenix.^[1]

Marty fue líder de la banda Hillsong United junto con Joel Houston (hijo del pastor Brian Houston). Su último álbum junto a United fue 'All of the Above' en 2007. Desde su casamiento con Michelle, dejó de formar parte en Hillsong United para continuar su ministerio en la banda principal de la Iglesia Hillsong. De esta forma, Brooke Fraser pasó a ser uno de los líderes de United, junto a Joel Houston y Jonathon Douglass. Frecuentemente, lidera la alabanza en la Iglesia Hillsong, y continúa haciendo grandes contribuciones para los nuevos álbumes de Hillsong. A pesar de su partida de United, siempre continuó en su oficio de compositor de canciones. También ayuda en la alabanza en Northern Beaches, una extensión de la Iglesia Hillsong.

En 2006, Marty lanzó un álbum titulado "Let Love Rule."^[2]
