Michelle Gomez es una actriz escocesa mejor conocida por su papeles de comedia en Green Wing y The Book Group.

Biografía

Su padre, originario de Montserrat, era un fotógrafo, mientras su mamá manejaba una agencia de modelos. Desde el momento en que vio la producción de Kiss Me, Kate a los siete años, quiso ser una actriz. Se entrenó en la Academia Escosesa de música y drama: Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

Carrera Profesional

Su primer papel fue en The Acid House, basada en tres historias cortas del autor Irvine Welsh. Se convirtió en estrella en la serie de comedia y drama The Group Bookantes de su papel de Sue White en ambas series 1 y 2 de la comedia Green Wing.También protagoniza a Mchelle en la serie Carrie and Barry, y empezó como PC Sally Bobbins en Feel the Force. También trabajó en la serie The Gunslingers Revenge (ll Mio West) con Harvey Keitel y David Bowie. En 2005 apareció en la película Alta sociedad (Chromophobia)junto a Penélope Cruz. En 2007 participó en el drama de Irvine Welsh Wedding Belles, en Boeing-Boeingen el Comedy Theatre in London, y en el radioteatro Valhala de la serie Doctor Who.

En 2008 se unió a Royal Shakespeare Company, e interpretó a Kate en los teatros Courtyard Theatre and the Novello Theatre.

Vida Personal

Ha estado casada con el actor británico Jack Davenport desde el 1 de mayo de 2000.
