The First Tour of the Angels fue una gira de conciertos por Finlandia sinfónico de power metal Nightwish del 31 de diciembre de 1997, al 13 de noviembre de 1998. Nightwish toco sólo ocho conciertos desde Jukka Nevalainen y Vuorinen Emppu fue por su servicio militar obligatorio y Tarja Turunen no había terminado sus estudios. La voz masculina en "Beauty and the Beast", "The Carpenter" y "Astral Romance" fueron cantadas por Tuomas Holopainen, al lado de Tarja. La banda tuvo como bajista a Samppa Hirvonen y la tecladista Marianna Pellinen durante la gira, en 1998, Samppa fue sustituido por Sami Vänskä.
