Tsagaan Sar (Цагаан сар / ᠴᠠᠭᠠᠨ ᠰᠠᠷᠠ, luna blanca o mes blanco) es el festival lunisolar del Año Nuevo en Mongolia. Es celebrado a veces en la misma fecha que el Año Nuevo Chino (a veces en el mes lunar siguiente). Sin embargo, el Tsagaan Sar tiene más nexos culturales con el Año Nuevo Tibetano (Losar) que con el Año Nuevo Chino.

Es celebrado dos meses después de la primera luna nueva tras el solsticio de invierno. En 2010, el Tsagaan Sar se celebró el 14 de febrero. Este festival es uno de los más importantes en Mongolia.[1]
