Billy Ficca


Billy Ficca es un baterista estadounidense, conocido por formar parte de la banda de punk rock Television (originalmente llamada The Neon Boys). Tras la separación de ese grupo en el año 1978, Ficca formó parte de Waitresses. También ha tocado en algunos álbumes solistas de su ex-compañero de banda, Tom Verlaine.

Ficca ha hecho apariciones en álbumes de artistas como Coyote Shivers, Dave Rave Group, Glen or Glenda, The Novellas, Eugene Ripper, Shane Faubert, Brian Ritchie y Lach and the Secrets. Actualmente toca con Gary Lucas y Gods and Monsters.

El estilo de Ficca ha sido comparado con el del baterista de jazz Elvin Jones y con el de John Bonham (de Led Zeppelin).
